Très modeste, Eva Longoria – qui a brillé sur le tapis rouge cannois – affirme qu’elle doit améliorer son français alors que celui-ci est quasiment impeccable ! Nikos revient sur son engagement caritatif et sur l’association qu’elle a choisie. Elle explique avoir opté pour CéKeDuBonheur car elle vient en aide aux enfants du monde. Avant d’ajouter : « J’aime beaucoup Omar, je suis très excitée. » L’ambiance de la soirée s’annonce excellente !
Nikos l’interroge ensuite sur sa conscience humanitaire, venue bien avant qu’elle ne soit célèbre. Elle explique qu’elle a toujours eu cela en elle, sa soeur ayant un handicap mental. Elle poursuit : « Ma mère était une enseignante spécialisée pour les personnes handicapées, j’ai toujours été impliquée. Je me suis toujours impliquée politiquement, et je suis philanthrope.
La star, qui file le parfait amour avec Eduardo Cruz, revient ensuite sur son engagement auprès de Barack Obama : « Je crois qu’il est très important aux États-Unis de rappeler qu’on a besoin du vote des femmes et du vote des Latinos. » Elle raconte enfin avoir suivi les élections françaises, plaisantant sur sa mauvaise prononciation du nom de notre nouveau président, François Hollande.
Pour finir l’interview, Nikos l’interroge sur le clap final de Desperate Housewives après huit saisons (en France, la huitième n’a pas encore été diffusée). Elle déclare : « C’était très triste mais j’étais satisfaite de passer à autre chose. (…) Il n’y avait pas grand chose de plus à écrire. »
Eva Longoria a bel et bien tourné la page et multiplie les projets : elle débute notamment la promotion du film Cristiada.
